Canoe Adventure Booking Details
If you’d like to book a trip with Walden’s Guiding & Outfitting you should begin by contacting us by phone or e-mail regarding the river you’d like to do, your skills,
your schedule and our trip availability.
Once a trip is decided upon, you can fill out our registration form/waiver (click here to download it) and submit it along
with a trip deposit by mail. The balance of the payment is due 30 days before the trip begins.
You can make your payment by cheque, money order, credit card (VISA or Mastercard)
or direct deposit into our Yukon bank (ask us for details).
Once we receive your registration and trip deposit, you’ll receive written confirmation of your booking as well as a detailed trip itinerary and other trip
information. We can help you with other arrangements such as hotel reservations, car rentals and sightseeing options.
Cancellation policy
Trip deposits are non-refundable but they are transferable to another Walden’s trip in the existing summer season or the next year. Should you need to cancel your
booking after you have made full payment, we will refund 50% of the balance 15 or more days before the trip starts and 25% of the balance 14 or less days before the trip
starts.
Good and Services Tax
The Canadian government requires a 6% Goods and Services Tax on all our trips. Non-Canadians are eligible for a partial refund of this tax so hang on to your receipts.
